Canicross is a relatively new sport. Participants run with a dog in harness attached to their waist. It is a cross country race, with dogs and runners setting off at timed intervals. It is becoming more and more popular and GSP are particularly good at it due to their speed and stamina.
Nala (Sparkenhoe Hope and Glory), at just 14 months of age, has recently successfully competed at both the World and European Canicross Championships. She was placed 26th in the World and 28th in the European competitions. Huge congratulations to Vikki Hubbard, Nala’s running partner, and we wish them every success in their future competitions.
